Abstract / Summary
As a Keynote artist at Birmingham Electroacoustic Sound Theatre (BEAST)'s BEAST FEaST 2015, I was commissioned to make a new piece (Already 289ms Away - see entry on this repository) with Frances Crow, to present a film screening of Of This Parish in the Elgar Concert Hall at theUniversity of Birmingham, to take part in a panel discussion and to discuss the broader Of This Parish project, a programme of artistic research undertaken by myself and Frances since 2013, which addresses the changing role of bells in contemporary culture.
