Abstract / Summary

Engaging effectively with undergraduate students to produce entrepreneurial internships and freelance opportunities presents many challenges.
Over a one-year period approximately 150 students engaged with a variety of internship and freelance opportunities provided by startups in the Launchpad Venture Studio at Falmouth University. Student profiles ranged from year one to three and were from a wide variety of disciplines including Robotics, the Games Academy, Film & TV, Business School, Photography and many more.
This presentation looks at what we did, what the outcomes were, what went well and what things we need to do differently in the future.
