Abstract / Summary
This session aimed to give an overview of the importance of robust communication and feedback channels when implementing technology in an educational environment.
In this session, a selection of successful communication and feedback mechanisms employed as part of a VLE migration project were explored as suggestions to improve student and staff engagement and use of technology.
The reasons for applying particular mechanisms, and the importance of quality feedback were be discussed. In addition, suggested approaches to maintaining communication channels once established were covered as part of the session.
