Abstract / Summary

The Overleg Beeldende Kunst (Consultation on the Visual Arts) Conference 2015 focussed on Master Courses from Dutch Universities representing the visual arts whose aim is to formulate a vision and (a set of competencies) on master courses in the Netherlands for the Visual Arts.

I compared various models of Masters Education in the UK and Europe and described in detail the Launchpad approach emphasising the HEFCE support and funding. This keynote promoted Falmouth University's ‘the University becomes a launchpad’ objective.
