Insiders (reading-performance)

At the opening for 'Lost For Words', an exhibition curated by Café Morte, January 2016, a table is set up with four chairs. Two readers set in adjacent seats. Each has before them an A3 sheet with two parallel texts. When a member of the public sits, the reader opposite begins to read from one of the parallel texts on the document and continues until the member of the public gets up. If two members of the public sit, the two readers read simultaneously and continue until either or both members of the public get up. The reading-performance continues for the duration the exhibition opening.
