The Inaugural Meeting of the Artists' Cycling Club

In 2007, curator Andrew Hunt was invited to programme a slot for The Institute of Contemporary Arts 60th year celebration, ‘Nought to Sixty’. Jonty Lees proposed a wheelie competition from the ICA to Buckingham Palace and Andrew Hunt offered the artist fee as prize. The event was advertised on hand written flyers which Hunt and Lees distributed on Saturday 12 July. On Sunday 13 July, 2007 at 2pm cyclists from all over London arrived to take part. Super Ted and BMX Mike shared the £500 prize.
