Abstract / Summary
This editorial allows for a moment in time to notice how one UK journal's interests and writings can reveal the deep interdependence, at times colonial heritage of UK performance training thinking and practice. How UK performance relies on immigrant training, Global South art forms and philosophy. This amidst the bleak context of two wars raging in Ukraine and Gaza. The 'hope' is in the collaborative efforts of these writers and thinkers, to change practice in studio and training and further afield, to open up multiple bodies into creative working for change.
