Abstract / Summary:

Directed by Heidi Brandenburg and Mathew Orzel, When Two Worlds Collide tells the powerful story of Alberto Pizango, a Peruvian indigenous leader, who resists the environmental ruin of Amazonian lands by government and big business.

Christopher Morris worked working behind-the-scenes for eight years with the makers of this extraordinary multi award winning documentary that received its world premiere at The Sundance Film Festival January 2016.

Initially I helped at the initial ideas stage with the changing and developing concept for the film, then I was in constant communication during the long years of the filming - in which the filmmakers had to go into hiding and communicated with me through fake email accounts - and finally I acted as an edit consultant reviewing and advising rough to fine cuts. I am credited as : story consultant.
