FALLEN: A SITE RELATED EXHIBITION

Having initially explored ideas relating to the imagined death of the goldfinch, the silence of Frenchman’s Creek and creating an environment reflective of the these transient moments, this past weeks residency has seen the culmination of two years work through drawing directly onto the walls at Kestle Barton. The wall drawings and language of marks have been developed as a setting for an animation of a dying goldfinch to be projected into the ephemeral landscape.
