Abstract / Summary:	Amerikan Tan: The Way of the Sausage was a video installation/performance made whilst in residence at Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki (TeaK) Helsinki, Finland. A collaboration between Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki (TeaK) Helsinki, Finland & Falmouth University (incorporating Dartington College of Art). This project questions the camera in relation to documentation, performativity and postproduction procedures. A context of immediacy and ‘liveness’ emphasised approaches to camerawork that involve close observation, representation and gradated objectivity. Coincided with a lecture & screening presentations at Ptarmigan Art Performance Space, Helsinki, Finland. September 2011
