Abstract / Summary

The online survey, titled ‘Perceptions of fall risk and attitudes towards hip protectors’, was targeted at members of the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS). The survey was designed to examine whether the contexts of gender, age, history of hip fracture, and the respondents’ own perceived risk of falls, have a bearing on the attitudes, and acceptance, of hip protectors.
