Abstract / Summary

The event titled Wear It Well: Exploring the Future of the Clothing Industry – A Future Focus Event (organised by Unlocking Potential and the University of Exeter) was a 1-day symposium held at Tregenna Castle, St. Ives, Cornwall with guest speakers, Falmouth University Fashion Design/Sportswear Design graduates and workshops for Cornish business leaders. I selected and organised speakers and exhibitors - recent Fashion Design/Sportswear Design graduates from Falmouth University and was invited to introduce graduates and contribute to Q & A panel discussion between the panel and the delegates. The aim was to create/sustain employment in UK (and specifically Cornwall) in fashion/textiles related areas. The event was funded by the European Regional Development Fund. (3 May 2018)
